Fiáin d’Leafy

Chief Biking Officer,
Bike Auckland

Fiáin d’Leafy is a facilitator, and a creative problem solver. They are passionate about the arts as well as environmental and social issues. They value empowering the community to create the change they want to see.

Currently, they support our core team at Bike Auckland as our Chief Biking Officer and take a lead on our advocacy for safer streets. We empower the community through our Bike Burb programme. Bike Burbs are community-led groups across Tāmaki Makaurau who encourage communities to cycle for their transport. They identify what barriers their communities face and work to overcome them such as through advocacy for safer streets, meet ups to build community, free basic bike maintenance, regifting second hand bikes, and family-friendly group rides to build confidence.
